The 1960 300F introduced a new, higher power 413 cu in (6.8 L) Wedge engine delivering 375 hp (280 kW) in standard form. To boost power at lower and mid rpms, a special "cross-ram" intake manifold was derived. Instead of the normal V8 engine central intake manifold with carburetor(s) on top, the cross-ram consisted of two pairs of 30 in (760 mm) long tuned pipes that criss-crossed so that each set fed the opposite side of the engine. The carburetors and air cleaners hung off the sides of the engine over the fender wells. These long tubes were tuned so that resonances in the column of air helped force air into the cylinders at those engine speeds. Also new were four individual, leather bucket seats with a full length console from dash to rear seatback.
A special 400 hp (300 kW) "short ram" version was produced for competition; in this, the tuned portion of the stacks was only 15 in (380 mm) long (though the overall tube length remained at 30"), so that the resonant effect was produced at higher engine speeds. Only 15 "short ram" cars were produced; these were also fitted with the exotic but often troublesome French Pont-a-Mousson 4-speed manual transmissions developed for the Chrysler-powered Facel Vega. Approximately 4 of these "Special GTs" are known to exist, including one convertible and one with air conditioning; it is believed that 15 were originally produced.
The bodywork was also redone for 1960, using Chrysler's new lightweight unibody construction and given sharper-edged styling with outward-tilting fins that were visually separated from sides. The "toilet seat" trunk lid contributed to a demeaning opinion of the 300F and was done away with after this one year of production.
Sales increased to 969 coupes and 248 convertibles.

The Chrysler 200 is a mid-size sedan and convertible produced by Chrysler, being introduced for the 2011 model year. The Chrysler 200 is an update and new nameplate for the outgoing 2010 Chrysler Sebring.[2][dead link]
Although the Sebring platform has been retained, there have been numerous cosmetic and powertrain changes to the 200. While the 2.4 L four-cylinder engine with either a four-speed or six-speed automatic transmission is carried over, Chrysler's new 3.6 L V6 is offered, with a six-speed automatic transmission, generating 283 horsepower (211 kW) and 260 lb·ft (350 N·m) of torque. Other changes include stiffer body mounts, a softer ride rate, revised suspension geometry, a new rear sway bar, and upgraded tires. The 200 also introduces more premium features than the Sebring, such as LED lighting, thicker seat cushioning with higher quality materials, and new measures to decrease noise, vibration, and harshness.[3]
The 200 is produced at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant and arrived at dealers in December 2010.[4] A 2-door convertible model was added in early 2011 with the same engine choices.[5]
The 200 name first appeared on a prototype hybrid vehicle shown at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, called the 200C. The prototype was based on the Chrysler 300. While Chrysler's sales chief, Steven Landry, said it had been approved for production, CEO Sergio Marchionne later said it was not practical. The 200C concept was engineered to accept either a traditional gasoline engine, hybrid or electric powertrain.[6] In Europe, the car will be sold as the Lancia Flavia beginning in the first half of 2012.

The Chrysler 300 is a full-size luxury car first shown at the 2003 New York Auto Show as a concept car. Sales in the U.S. began in the spring of 2004 as an early 2005 model year car. Designed by Ralph Gilles, the new 300 was built as a high-end sedan while the SRT-8 model was designed to be the high-performance version. The Chrysler 300 is also marketed in Australia, as the first full-size Chrysler vehicle sold there since the Valiant was discontinued in 1981. The car will be sold in Europe as the Lancia Thema beginning in October 2011.
SRT-8
Chrysler introduced the SRT-8 version of the car at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2004. It includes a new 370-cubic-inch, 6.1 L Hemi V8 which produces 425 hp (317 kW). Preliminary performance targets for the 300C SRT8 are 0-60 mph in the high 4-second range and quarter-mile time in the low 13-second range. It went on sale in February 2005 and has a sticker price of US$43,695 as of 2006 plus applicable taxes. Additional features include leather SRT-8 performance-embossed seats and 20-inch forged, polished aluminum wheels, Brembo brakes, and a rear lip spoiler.See also: Street and Racing Technology

At the end of this year Fiat will own 57% of Chrysler. The integration of this two companies in accelerating intensively. The Italians requested an increase of production at the Toluca factory in Mexico where Dodge Journey and the european equivalent,Fiat Freemont, are produced.Fiat was taken by surprise by the high numbers of orders received for the new Freemont approx.15.700 units. They were expecting 13.000 orders in the best case scenario but it appears they're expectations were surpassed.Approximately 80% of orders are in Italy where Freemont is 5.500 euros cheaper that the car it replaces-Fiat Ulysse. For the moment Chrysler succeeded to cover the orders received but they are a little bit worried that this situation might continue a longer period and they will have more cars ordered that they're able to make. They are gonna put those lazy ass Mexicans to work !!!
New York 2011: Chrysler 200 S Convertible live photos
While Europe still do not know what will happen with Flavia, Chrysler is already showing in the New York Hall 200 S Convertible, which differs from the normal model for a number of ways large and small sporting mismatched under the hood.
Or 3.5 V6 engine of 283 horses and their suspensions have been any changes to warrant the letter S, so that is left to the body to defend the new name, justified with a new grille black (smart enough, by the way) , darkened headlamps, aluminum wheels, 18-inch diffuser championship. Inside, the upholstery is the same line gloomy outside, and is enriched with heating equipment for the front seats and steering wheel rim. In short, a very fine job and avoid any confusion with the tens of thousands of 200 "bald" bought by the U.S. rental companies.
Chrysler will launch the new 200 in the U.S. this spring, at a price of $ 32,490.
