Dacia is one of the fastest growing car companies in the world.Dacia Duster comes back into motorsport racing with a recently announced project.The french pilot Jean-Phillipe Dayraut will drive it at the famous Pikes Peak race event with a specially modified Duster.Even more impressive than the Dacia Duster created for the Andros trophy the new racing Dacia model was developed around a tubular chassis.Plenty of power is developed by a V6 3,8 liter engine biturbo from Nissan.Traction is realized by all the 4 wheels.Its the same engine featured on Nissan GT-R.The engine was specially tuned for this racing Duster, now develops 850 HP and its specially placed in the middle of the car.The overall weight is somewhere around 2000 lbs.Pikes Peak is the most famous mountain race track in the USA.The track is 12 miles long and has 250 corners, it starts at a altitude of 4500 ft. and even reaches at a point 14000 ft.We can only wish good luck to team Dacia on their debut on Pikes Peak.
