Hyundai just unveiled their latest creation at the Barcelona Motor Show.This new Hyundai has a purely European identity being designed and engineered in Rüsselsheim, Germany.Official sources say that this new model will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2011.Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, commented, "The reveal of the sedan represents the next step of the i40's introduction to the European market, following the very positive reception for the i40 wagon. The Hyundai i40 sedan shares the same qualities found in the wagon, including outstanding levels of fuel-efficiency, comfort, and quality, and broadens the appeal of the i40 to buyers in the D-segment.Hyundai i40 sedan represents the next evolution of Hyundai's unique design language, 'fluidic sculpture'.The design is a radical improvement for Hyundai in Europe I say but some might not like it because its a bit to fluid. Technical specs:
-Its proportions are somewhat similar to Ford Mondeo and Mazda 6.
-Will be available with 4 choices of engines. The most powerful is a 2.0l four cylinder engines which makes 175 HP.Fuel economy Hyundai says is rated at 40 mpg but I personally i think is a bit overrated.
