The new official Opel Zafira Tourer was just recently unveiled.This is the brand new third generation of the Opel's family van.It comes with a brand new design clearly influenced by General Motors brand like Chevy and Buick design lines which is no surprise considering that Opel is owned by GM since 1929.A lot of other Opel models were re-branded in the past and sold in US as American cars.The interior design is also new and it clearly shows high quality materials. Opel Zafira Tourer offers 7 seats thanks to the Flex7 system which now is improved regarding modularity and ergonomics.Now on the second row we have 3 separate seats that can be independently folded.There is an extra Lounge Seating option which is ever more efficient.There is a total of six engine options to choose from.Smallest engine is a 1.4 EcoTec that produces 120 HP.The most powerful engine is a 2.0 CDTI producing a "staggering" power of 160 HP.Its a bit to little for this car in my opinion but considers the prices of gas in Europe its the best choice.Options for the gearbox will be a 5 speed manual or a 6 speed automatic equipped with the Start&Stop system.
