CARS | Land Rover Defender is a design icon, with over 60 years of history. To celebrate this important anniversary special edition Defender SVX Land Rover convertible were produced. This is a limited production based on hardtop 90, but with a rollbar and removable black cloth soft-top instead of a fixed roof. The black exterior has a contrasting silver finish features tubular side steps, and the fat around the grille and new headlamps with smooth ice. The interior is fitted with specially designed Recaro front seats, distinctive alloy gear knobs, a new audio system (with subwoofer and USB socket), iPod cradle and Garmin satellite navigation.
Land Rover Defender, sustainable product development since 1948 and in its present form since 1983, is that defenders of Porsche 911 sports car SUV, resolutely faithful to their original shape. But while the iconic Land Rover remains the epitome of the vehicle to go anywhere, the company appears ready to go early too.
